The porous ceramic is delivered either alone or fixed to a tube (type SPS 200)


STANDARD CERAMIC Ø 63 mm FOR LYSIMETERS - SDEC 6300


This ceramic is mostly used for soil water solution sampling. (SPS200).
Its important contact area with the soil makes it very usefull in experimentations where large amounts of solutions are needed.
Because of its surface qualities and a low air entry value, this ceramic has a high sampling flow.

Air entry value : 1 Bar.

Pore size : about 3 micron.

Hydraulic conductivity : 9,5.10-6cm.s-1 (*)

Weight : 160 gr.

Dimensions (**) :
Outer diam. : 63,00 mm.
Total height : 88,20 mm.

(*) K is an average value calculated from a sample of 100 ceramics of the same type.
